During his time at the University of Houston Law Center, Mr. Lazarine interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, in the Apellate / Post-Conviction Writs Division, where he also trained in the Harris County Criminal Courts at Law. This gave him a head start in his career as a criminal defense attorney in the Houston & Fort Bend County Area. Mr. Lazarine responded to nearly one hundred Petitions for Writ of Habeas Corpus during his time at the District Attorney’s Office.
Criminal Prosecutor Experience
Before Daniel Lazarine became a criminal defense attorney, he was an Assistant District Attorney in the Galveston County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.
During that time, Mr. Lazarine prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor cases, including DWI/DUI, Assault Causing Bodily Injury, Drug charges, Family Violence, Theft, and other criminal offenses.
While working as a Felony Prosecutor, Mr. Lazarine prosecuted hundreds of felony cases including: drug charges like Possession and Manufacture / Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Felony Theft, Burglary, Felony DWI, Robbery, Felony Assault, and many others.
